Flying sites

West Blackdown Model Gliding Club has permission to fly at various sites. Slope soaring is mainly done at Culmstock Beacon suitable for winds from the west and south. Hartridge, near Luppitt is an alternative, with easier access, whenever the wind is westerly. Other sites,on private land and available to members only, provide slope soaring when winds are easterly and from the north. Similarly we have a flat field thermal and electric flying site for members.

We constantly have our spies out looking for new flying sites so expect this list to expand! Watch this space!
